The Industry

The Hospitality industry plays a key role in the commercial operations of many other industries through the sales promotion of tourism, retail sales, food and beverage operations, parks and attractions. The industry covers a wide range of functions including commercial Cookery, Catering, Front of House, Reception,  Housekeeping, Gaming and Security. It also includes Retail and Wholesale travel, Visitor Information, Attractions and Theme Parks, Meetings and Guiding.

Training Packages

THT04 Hospitality

Includes food and beverage services, commercial and Asian cookery, catering, patisserie, gaming, housekeeping and front office in a range of establishments including restaurants, hotels, motels and accommodation, resorts, clubs and food and beverage outlets.

There are 11 qualifications in Hospitality addressing several sub-sectors including Hospitality Operations (food and beverage services,  housekeeping, front office, gaming), Commercial Cookery, Commercial Catering, Passerie, Asian Cookery and Hospitality Supervision and Management.
