Training Packages

SRO04 Outdoor Recreation

Guiding and instruction across a wide range of recreational activities outdoor clubs, holiday camps, recreation equipment hire, outdoor activities and parks and gardens, organisation and management.

The Package is similar to the Sports Package in that it covers a wide range of activities, each governed by different industry associations. For example, climbing has different associations for climbing in natural and artifical enviroments. It addresses the skills needed by instructors and guides as well as managers. Skills are required from several other industry areas and competency standards are included from other packages such as Hospitality, Public Safety, Retail, Transport and Distribution, Rural and Tourism. 

Outdoor Recreation has 6 qualifications. 

SRO20203 Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation
SRO20303 Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation (Multiple activities)
SRO30203 Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation
SRO30303 Certificate III in Outdoor Recraetion (Multiple activities)
SRO40203 Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation
SRO50203 Diploma of Outdoor Recreation
