The Industry

The Libraries and Museums industry plays a key role in the commercial operations of many other industries through Education and Visitor services, Information Organisation and Management, Prevention Conservation and Public Programs, and assists in the recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Heritage. The industry covers a wide range of occupations ranging from Visitor Services, Curator Assistants and Managers, Directors of Galleries and Cultural Centers, Library Assistants and Technicians and Instillation. It has a diverse range of work areas including Public, Corporate and School Environments.
