The Competency Navigator™ is an internet-based skills assessment software which is used to:
· Identify the competencies which a person possesses;
· Identify the training needs which a person has; and
· Translate skill-sets and training needs into Nationally Recognised Qualifications.

Being internet-based the Competency Navigator™ can be accessed from any computer which has internet access. Each user is provided with his or her own username and password and is able to access the system when it suits them, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Reporting
The Competency Navigator™ offers a range of reporting options as well as the ability to develop customised reports to meet a specific need. Available reports include:
· Individual training plans;
· Position descriptions; and
· Aggregated reports which cover a team, department or an entire organisation.

Outcomes
The Competency Navigator™ allows an organisation to quickly and easily identify:
- The skills which exist within an organisation at the individual, team, departmental and organisational levels;
- The training needs which exist within an organisation; and
- The most appropriate Nationally Recognised Qualification for each individual and/or position within the organisation.
The Competency Navigator™ also allows an organisation to put staff through on a regular basis to get ongoing information about skills and training needs to assist in Human Resource management and planning.

The Competency Navigator™ is fully customisable with an organisation able to:
- Add their own logos and colour scheme;
- Add their own additional content such as organisation specific competencies or questions;
- Select which competencies and/or Training Package are available for selection by users; and
- Select the reports that they require and/or develop their own specific reports.
