 The Firestick Theatre program aimed to train, motivate, influence and teach students about different styles of modern, contemporary and traditional dance. The training had an enormous social impact on the group as they formed due to personal or family social issues.

The course was divided into a two stage program. Stage one was non-accredited training funded by the Department of Education and Training and Arts NT.

Stage two was funded by the Department of Education and Training and was delivered by Formations Studios which covers training in multimedia, sound and lighting.
