CHARTTES Training Advisory Council is a non-profit, independent organisation that provides an advisory and advocacy service to the Cultural, Recreation and Tourism industry sectors; representing their training needs at local and national level.  CHARTTES Training Advisory Council is a principal advisor to the Northern Territory Department of Education and Training on Vocational Education and Training (VET) Matters across the sectors of coverage.

The Staff at Charttes Training Advisory Council have come from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring  we have competent employees that are able to supply information and direction towards quality vocational education, training and workforce development. 

CHARTTES Training Advisory Council is governed by a management committee drawn from members of the industry and community sectors that it represents. Its coverage includes Tourism & Hospitality, Sport & Recreation & Culture & the Arts.

The Northern Territory Cultural, Recreation and Tourism Training Advisory Council's main purpose is to promote the quality and effectiveness of vocational education and training for its industries and the community.
